Tyngsborough, MA - The Mite Junior Senators lost a heartbreaker today in the Championship of the Heroes Hockey Tournament vs the Islanders Hockey Club. The Jr Sens battled back from a 2-0 deficit to tie the game in the 3rd period but an unlucky bounce for the Sens led to the Islanders getting the 3rd and eventual game winning goal with one minute to go. The kids gave it everything they had and the entire Senators program is extremely proud of this group of players. Luke Petelle led the Senators onto the ice today with our Nations flag in our of Veterans and his Great Grandfather & Korean War veteran, Alfred Magro. Again congrats to the players and coaches on such a great run in this Hockey Tournament!
