Senator teams ready for Columbus Weekend Showcases!

Columbus weekend has arrived and 4 of our teams will take place in 3 different showcases & tournaments this weekend.

First up our 18U American team will participate in the Mass Bay Shamrocks shootout. Hosted by the Mass Bay Shamrocks.  The Americans will kick things off Thursday night at 8pm vs the host team to get the tournament under way.  The Americans will then have a double header on Saturday with games vs the Boston Jr Terriers and the North Suburban Wings of Triton.  Semi and Final to be played on Sunday!

The 14U National team who is off to a 10-0-0 start to the season will take place in the FM Hockey Columbus Shootout. It brings together some of the best 2008 teams in the Northeast. All of the games will take place at the Rinks at Exeter in New Hampshire.  The young Sens open up Friday night vs the Echo Stars.  On Saturday they play EHF entry the South Shore Kings.  The 3rd game is also against another EHF team in the Boston Jr. Huskies. The final game on Monday will be played versus the Lovell Winter Hockey Club.

Moving over to the 16U National team. The Senators are taking place in the Beast Columbus Showcase for the first time.  Many teams from across the country head to this showcase.  There is over 200 games at the 15/16/18 level.  Lots of these games will determine who gets bids for the Mass Hockey State tournament next month.  The 16's open up against the Central CT Capitals a top ranked 16 Tier 2 team in the country.  The Sens also have games vs the Mass Avalanche and the North Suburban Wings.  The Senators will also have 2 league games on their schedule as well on Saturday night and Monday afternoon.

Our 18 National team is also making their Beast debut this weekend with 3 games.  The team has match ups vs the Boston Jr Huskies who are ranked in the top 10 in Mass for 18 Tier 2 teams.  The Senators found themselves #5 in the latest rankings.  After the game with the Huskies they have to head to the NESV for a game against the Northeast Generals Academy team. They are a top 18 Tier 1 team in Mass and also looking to improve their myhockey ranking.  Sunday the Senators close out the Showcase with a match-up vs the Providence Hockey Club out of the EHF Midget Selects.
