The Little Senators will hold a practice/registration session at Holland Arena, Summer Street, Woburn, on Wednesday, September 5th at 3:30 p.m. (on the ice at 3:50). This will mark the start of the Little Senators program. Attached is an information flyer with team, practice, game and tuition information. In short, we’ve doubled our practice ice, and added an Elite travel team while continuing with the Stoneham Development league team options.
In summary, the tuition is $990 (only $900 if register on or before September 5th). You can make this in three equal payments. We will begin practice on September 5th at 3:50 p.m. at Holland Ice Arena in Woburn (7 weeks), Mass Bay Hockey Center, Peabody, beginning September 21st at 6:30 p.m. and Burlington Ice Palace at 7 a.m. beginning on September 29th, with Bruins Academy. This will provide over 45 practices to help your player develop the skills to begin their long hockey careers.
I hope to see you at Holland Arena on September 5th at 3:30 p.m. If you have any questions, please fee free to email me. Also, if you have a friend that would like to join, please forward to them.
Since you valuable members of the Eastern Mass Senators, I would like to invite you to sign up early any family members or friends for Bruins Academy. You can sign you child up at https://learntoplay.nhl.com/bruins. You can register in advance by using promo code EMASS14. Open registration begins July 19th.
The Eastern Mass Senators is a Tier I/II National Bound program. As part of this program, I run the Little Senators, which is a learn-to-play hockey program for 5-9 year-olds. For the last few seasons we have teamed up with the Boston Bruins, Bruins Academy Learn-to-Play program. The Bruins Academy offers for $100 head-to-toe equipment plus 4 on-ice sessions. Our 18 Tier I/II and our 16 Tier II team coaches volunteer their time to bring a quality on ice practice to our youngest skaters.
As a continuation of the Bruins Academy, if your player(s) decide to continue on, they can join the Little Senators program. Our program is a Learn-to-Play program. We practice on Saturday mornings at 7 a.m. at the Burlington Ice Palace and play one game a week at Stoneham Arena in a Cross-ice/Half-ice Community league.
For our more advanced players, we will be having an "Elite" division team in the Premier Hockey League. Our home rink will be the Mass Bay Chiefs Rink on Route 1 in Peabody. This team will practice 1-2 times per week with a 14-game plus play-offs game schedule.
The Little Sens will start on September 29th with the 4-week Bruins Academy Program and continue through mid-March. We are still determining the costs, but our goal is to keep it affordable.
Please let me know if you are still interested. Even, if your player doesn't continue, full equipment and 4 ice sessions for $100 is quite a great bargain.
Let’s Play Hockey
Hope to see you at the rink
