STARTS Sunday, November 5th Immediately following Boston Bruins Academy!!

Head over to our Lil' Sens Learn 2 Skate page for all the information you need!

Here are some Q & A's that people have!

Q: How do I know this program is right for my play-

er?

A: Our Program accepts skaters between the ages of 5&9 years old. If your player can skate on their own and is enthusiastic about playing on a team, this is a good place to start

Q Who should participate?

A: Boys and girls ages 5-9 years old who want to learn to skate, learn to play hockey, and have fun.

Q: Does my player have to tryout?

A: No! All players wanting to join the Little Sens can be on a team. We will evaluate players to ensure we create equal teams. Every kid that wants to play will be allowed.

Q: What equipment will my child need?

A: If you did not participate in the Bruins Academy portion, you will need to make sure your player has skates, elbow pads, shin pads, pants, hockey socks, shoulder pads and a stick. USA Hockey requires that all children wear a HECC certified hockey helmet with full face mask.

Q: What if my player wants to play goaltender?

A: That’s GREAT! We hope that every player will want to try. The Eastern Mass Senators has pur- chased “Quick Change Pads” from USA Hockey, and all the players will be allowed to take a turn, if they would like.

Q: Can I volunteer?

A: A goal of the program is to maintain a 6:1 player to volunteer ratio. Please indicate if you are will- ing to volunteer and we will be in touch with you before the season begins.

Q: Are there any special requirements for volun- teers?

A: Volunteers must be approved by the Senators President, Mike Bonish, register with USA Hockey, have completed a SafeSport training class, and participate in a USA Hockey Mite online module. The most important requirement is the love of kids and hockey.

Q: How can I register my player?

A: First, register your player with USA Hockey at www.usahockeyregistration.com and forward that registration to Jim Maimone at coachjimm@comcast.net. Then complete the application on the back side with your $450 check made payable to the Eastern Mass Senators and mail both to Mr. Bob Bracy, Treasurer Eastern Mass Senators, 5 George Avenue, Woburn 01801
